So Bestival 2016 Happened.

When you are known by most as the last festival of the year, you’ve got to make it a weekend to remember and go out with a bang. That’s exactly what Bestival did this year; with an array of acts from up-and-coming indie bands to old favourites to world-famous names, the festival lived up to its name and delivered a fantastic festival experience.

With Bestival it’s not just all about the music. There is so much going on and even if you happened to miss every single live musician, you’d still have a great time. There was something for everyone over at Robin Hill. We had the main stages including the Big Top tent and the Space port and the Ambient Forest which had lots of quirky and cool things to offer. Although a few things had changed this year in terms of the size, it didn’t take away from the vibe that regular Bestival-goers have grown to love.

The diversity of acts that played last weekend clearly shows how eclectic Bestival is from The Cure and The Human League to Craig David and Lady Leshurr. The perfect acts for closing the weekend were Sean Paul and Wiz Khalifa on the Sunday who definitely had you wanting to stay for a few more days. What we love about this festival is it willingness to showcase the up and coming and less known acts and the ability to throw the best weekend-long party. Musical discoveries were definitely made and below are some of favourite acts from the weekend to look out for in the future.

  • Billie Marten
  • Asylums
  • Izzy Bizu
  • Xylaroo
  • Frances
  • Oh Wonder
  • Alice Jemima

Don’t miss out on all the fun and make sure you keep updated with Bestival.net for tickets for 2017!
