With a long player set to drop in 2016, Billie Marten is set to become everyone’s favourite new musical force. Her appearance at Bestival is your chance to get in on the act before the crowd.
When your influences include some of the classic and contemporary greats such as Ella Fitzgerald, James Brown, Amy Winehouse and Adele,the music you are going to create will be a fusion of soul, funk, jazz and pop that sounds classic and brand spanking new all at once. This duo’s live shows that have really been doing the damage, warm, sensual, effortlessly cool soul music to make you dance and to make you fall in love. They are definitely an act you don’t want to miss.
New-comers Asylums, are the epitome of goodtime, indie rock n roll, and while their Invaders of the Future Stage show at Bestival 2016 might be the first time you’ve experienced the band, we guarantee it won’t be the last.
Hip Hop artist to watch is this 20-year-old from South London. He has been causing quite a stir since the release of his debut ‘A Little Late’ EP in September 2014. Support has come from all areas, he has been championed by DJ Semtex on Radio 1Xtra, while Phil Taggart and Huw Stephens at Radio 1. A star in the making, get down to see him in September!
